Daylink privacy
Last updated 21 October 2026
Daylink is a daily word puzzle made by David, an independent developer. You don't need an account, and we don't collect your name, contacts or location.
Your games
Your puzzles, taps, chain and stats are kept in your browser's storage on your device. They're never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Visit counts
We use Google Analytics to count visits and a few actions: starting a puzzle, finishing it (with how many words it took) and sharing. This tells us how Daylink is doing. Google receives your device and browser type, rough location (country or city) and a random ID stored in a cookie. IP addresses are anonymised, and nothing is used for advertising. In Europe, nothing is stored until you agree.
Sharing
When you tap Share, you choose where your result goes. It says the puzzle number, how many taps you used and your chain, never the answer.
Children
Daylink is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
